Bristol City Council is partnering with voluntary organisations and resident-led groups to host Bristol Community Festival – a multi-day programme of events celebrating and inspiring social action, which will take place from 22nd March-5th April 2025. The events will be organised and run by voluntary and community groups/organisations from across the city as well as BCC departments, and will take place in community venues and City Hall.
The purpose of the Bristol Community Festival is to encourage social activists and residents of Bristol learn new skills, connect them to opportunities and get involved in community and civic life. It will provide a space to share knowledge, skills and stories of impact from across BCC departments and VCSE sector, celebrate and promote social action. It will encourage collaboration and provide routes in for people who want to get involved in their community but don’t know how.
Limited funding is available to eligible community groups and voluntary organisations, but if you’re not eligible for funding or just don’t need money, you can still host your own event!
If you would like to organise an event as part of the festival, all information is on the BCC website. Applications close on Monday 21st October.
