Voscur Website Update - December 2024

The Voscur Website will be updated in December 2024 and the way we display job advertisements will be changing. There may be downtime of up to a few days in December 2024 where job advertisements will be unavailable to view or publish.
If you have advertised a job or volunteer role on our website:
  • Jobs that are still open for applications on the migration date will be published on the new website automatically, and you don't need to do anything.
  • Jobs that have closed for applications on or before the migration date will not be transferred to the new website. If you would like to extend the closing date of a job which has closed, you'll need to re-upload the advertisement.
Please check back in late November 2024 when we will be able to share the exact migration date.

How do I advertise a job with Voscur?

It’s simple: create an account then create your job advert. Our team will check the advert, after which it will be live on our website – this check may take up to two business days. 

Voscur has taken the #ShowTheSalary pledge. To advertise a paid job role with Voscur, your advert must contain the salary or salary range for the role. Any adverts for paid roles that do not show the salary will be rejected, and our team will get in touch with you to request the information prior to publication. This requirement does not apply to voluntary roles, which are unpaid. 

How much are adverts?

The fees for advertising salaried/paid roles are competitively priced so that we can support community organisations to recruit the best people:

  • Standard: £145 ex VAT per job advert
  • Members: discounted to £45 ex VAT per job advert - to take advantage of the Voscur discount, sign up to Voscur membership by completing this application form.
  • Voscur affiliates: £95 ex VAT per job advert - to take advantage of the Voscur discount, sign up to Voscur affiliation by completing this application form.

An invoice will be issued after the submission of each job advert; VAT will be added, if applicable.

What about adverts for volunteers?

Volunteers are the bedrock of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector. Community organisations may advertise their volunteer/trustee roles for free.
