Organisations and individuals can apply to the second round of grant funding from the British Council, Bristol City Council and Bristol Cultural Development Partnership, as part of the Festival of Ideas 2020, to celebrate international partnerships in social innovation.
The aim of the scheme is to meet social needs and tackle social problems by face-to-face or digital learning, and to use insight from other cities around the world.
Last year, 14 local organisations and individuals were awarded £250-1,000 to help fund their projects. The grant winners developed links to cities such as Beira, Berlin and New York, and project themes included supporting refugees, food production and eco-friendly tourism.
To be eligible, you must live or be based in Bristol, and your organisation must have a turnover of no more than £500,000; your proposed activity must be completed by August 2020. The maximum grant amount is £1,000, and the total grant funding amount for Bristol is £10,000.
You will need to submit an application, including a budget and references, either as an emailed document or as a video or audio file.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 6 March 2020, and decisions will be announced the following week. For more details and to apply, click here.
