If you are coordinating a volunteer response to coronavirus, you need to complete a risk assessment to make sure your volunteers are as safe, aware and responsible as possible.
This basic template can be filled out with all the activities and tasks that your volunteers do, and the behind-the-scenes work you do to coordinate them.
We are all responding quickly to coronavirus in our communities, but by taking the time to consider risks to volunteers and the public, you will be able to spot potential problems before they happen, minimise risks, and have an action plan ready to deal with anything that comes your way, whether that means volunteer absence, conflict between volunteers, or supporting vulnerable people in the neighbourhood.
