Rebecca Mear has joined Voscur as the new Chief Executive Officer. This appointment follows a wide-ranging and open recruitment process, and we are thrilled to have Rebecca in post.

Rebecca joins us from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bristol, where she had led the faculty on equity, diversity and inclusion. She has worked in partnership with Voscur in a previous organisation and is excited to return to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in a leadership role.

Rebecca's prior experience includes the role of Chief Executive Officer at Voluntary Action North Somerset, where she initiated and delivered a major change programme to improve the sustainability of the organisation. Previously she held the role of Director at Refugee Action Kingston, providing services and advocacy for refugees and asylum seekers.
