Bristol City Council is looking for citizens to join a group that will help decide where money goes as part of the Community Resilience Fund. The fund is a one-off grant of £4 million that is available to organisations working in the most deprived areas of Bristol, and also to city-wide community groups.
The Fund aims to help community and voluntary organisations increase their resilience and sustainability during these challenging times. Community projects are particularly valuable right now as many are having to work harder than ever before and experiencing increased demand from people needing support. It is important that residents play a central role in deciding which projects and community organisations receive the grants so they can continue to do the vital work they do.
