At the end of March Voscur hosted the Cost of Living and Inequalities Conference, bringing together leading voices from across the city to share insight, understand challenges and plot pathways forwards through the current economic climate.
One of the in-progress outcomes from the conference is a manifesto, which will consist of commitments and asks, to be taken to funders and networks to work towards making positive change happen.
Some of the organisations supporting those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis, as well as funders, have already contributed towards the manifesto during their time at the conference. However, we are aware that there may be those who were unable to attend who also want to contribute towards this work. Therefore, we have created a short one question form asking what commitments and asks from others you feel the sector needs, using the main emerging themes as choices, as well as the option to add your own. You can access this form and contribute towards the manifesto here: https://forms.office.com/e/QBUeppnne9 (input deadline of 27th April)
Alternatively, if you would like to send further thoughts to us on the manifesto via email you can do by contacting our Policy, Research and Communications Manager Ian, at ian.hm@voscur.org
Thank you in advance for contributing towards the manifesto – it is an opportunity to start building a shared vision for positive change among ourselves and with funders.
Once the manifesto is finalised we will share it both here on our website, through our ebulletin, social media and directly to those who attended.
