The Bristol Social Impact Awards are back tonight (29th Feb 2024), where we will be celebrating the people that strive to make Bristol a great place to live, work and volunteer.

We received just under 300 nominations from people in the local community, highlighting the scale of innovative and dedicated work taking place. These nominations were reviewed by a panel of 15 representatives from the business, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE), and public sectors with expertise in each category, to decide on the winners for each award.

Voscur CEO Rebecca Mear will be on stage during the awards ceremony, and is expects the event to be an opportunity to give recognition to amazing work happening locally:

“We are aiming to shine a light on to the incredible people across Bristol who are driving forward real change for their communities and the city. It is important that we celebrate how powerful our communities here in Bristol are, to recognise the unimaginable dedication and commitment that everyone who has been nominated gives to better our society.

Our VCSE sector here in Bristol is truly vibrant, innovative, and community-driven, and we have so much of which we can be proud, collectively”
