A University of Bristol research team is seeking participants who have experience of supporting a woman who has suffered abuse from a partner or family member.
The Building Resilience study aims to develop support for friends, family members, neighbours and colleagues of women experiencing abuse.
The study will take place during August 2020 and August 2021.
Participants will be interviewed over the phone or online in order to gather their views and opinions – interviews are expected to take around an hour and each person will receive a small high street gift voucher.
The findings from these interviews will inform the development of a service, which will be piloted in a future study.
The team is keen on getting a wide range of perspectives and are particularly interested in hearing from people who are under-represented in the research, including those aged 60+ and people from ethnic minority groups.
