There are bookable 15-minute slots available to talk to the Arts & Events team at Bristol City Council about the Originators Fund, which is a great opportunity for organisations and individuals involved in arts and culture.

This funding is designed to support events, arts and culture activities being held in Bristol from June 2021 - May 2022.

Who donates to food banks? YouGov profiles donors

YouGov has revealed detailed data about people who donate to food banks, based on its profiling research.

This helps build a picture of the average donor – their age, work status, location, and level of involvement with charitable organisations. As you might expect, food bank donors tend to be involved in charities or community groups.

The #NeverMoreNeeded social media campaign, which raises awareness of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in light of coronavirus, has issued a campaign pack with materials for VCSE organisations to use. 

Power to Change Community Business Festival 2020

 

Power to Change is hosting a two-day virtual festival to celebrate community businesses. 

The festival will feature examples of community businesses from across England, from sports groups and gardening groups to sustainable fashion organisations, and even running a community pub.

This event involves looking at current developments on COVID-19, imagining what recovery might look like in the city, and the kind of help your community needs. There will be breakout discussions and networking opportunities.
