Women's Inequalities Training
Training description:
Free training session funded by BNSSG Integrated Care Board (ICB) for all mental health practitioners in the BNSSG workforce and all those who work supporting mental health in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VSCE) Sector who also work or volunteer in the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucester areas.
This 3 hour interactive training has been designed to help all mental health practitioners better understand the depth and breadth of the inequalities and intersectionality of the women - including those who identify as women - that they are supporting. It looks at what this means over the lifecycle of a woman, and participants will have the opportunity to meet and hear the unique experiences of service users.
This training is relevant for CPD (Continual Professional Development).
P lease note: If you work for AWP, they will update your CPD training record with your attendance if (when you book) you fill out your details, along with full name and job title, ticking the relevant box if you would like AWP to log your CPD. Once you have completed the training session, your CPD record with AWP will be updated.
Slides, notes and other resources will be sent to all participants following the training.
