Voscur's Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
Voscur invites members to take part in our online Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), on Wednesday 30 September.
Voscur has recently undertaken a governance review in line with Charity Commission guidance, as our current Memorandum & Articles date back to 2012. We’re now holding an EGM so that a revised Memorandum & Articles will be proposed to our members by Voscur’s Board of Trustees. The proposed changes aim to:
- Update some Articles in line with company and charity law.
- Allow Board meetings to be conducted virtually.
- Allow Voscur to provide our services, work in collaboration and partnership, and take advantage of strategic and income-generating opportunities beyond Bristol.
As a Voscur member, you will receive a formal notice of the EGM and a copy of the proposed resolution at least 21 days before the meeting.
To take part, you need a laptop with a camera, microphone, and Wi-Fi; you won't need any additional software. You will be emailed an invitation with a link to join the online EGM prior to the event.
Voscur is running all events and training online, due to the ongoing public health situation with coronavirus (COVID-19). This decision was taken in line with local and national health advice, and to safeguard the health of our attendees and staff.
