VOSCUR is collaborating with the Media Trust to organise an exciting ‘speedmatching’ event, aimed at introducing local charities* to marketing volunteers who can help them to spread their message and raise their profile.
This joint event, taking place at the Bristol Energy Hub, is planned on 6 June to coincide with Volunteers Week. Places are highly limited to get your registration in as soon as possible!
Speedmatching, based on speed dating, is a way of introducing you to media and communications volunteers who could help you with the communications worries you are facing – they can offer you on the spot advice on the evening itself, and/or hopefully a longer term commitment too.
The volunteers will have seen the charities’ profiles and their support requests prior to the event so will come equipped with lots of ideas and, in keeping with the location – energy! For more information on Speedmatching services please click here.
*This Speedmatching event is specifically for charities working or based in the Bristol area that would like to receive support on strategic aspects of their communications e.g Marketing Support, Digital and PR support, Branding aspects, etc.

Time: 6th June 2017 5.30pm – 7.30pm
Address: Unit 5-6, 1 Canon’s Road, Bristol, BS1 5UH
(For SatNav, this address takes you to the back of the building, the entrance is on the quayside)
There'll be be nibble and drinks too, we hope it'll be a fun evening!

Please be aware that spaces for these events fill up very quickly. Once you have submitted a form we will be in touch to confirm if we have been able to offer you a place.
This Speedmatching event is specifically for charities working or based in the Bristol area that would like to receive support on strategic aspects of their communications e.g Marketing Support, Digital and PR support, Branding aspects, etc. and some places will be reserved for organisation who contribute to the Bristol Vision.
(Our Speedmatching events really rely on the participants’ attendance to work, if you sign up and find out that you are unable to attend the event then please let us know as soon as possible and we can offer your spot to another charity.)
Please note that we expect charities who apply to have the right structures in place to support volunteers – if this is not the case then please let us know and we can organise a free volunteer management induction session with you before the event.
