BAME Voluntary Sector Network Meeting
Black South West Network was delighted to host the last BAME Voluntary Sector Network Meeting for African/Caribbean & Asian heritage organisations on Monday 19 August 2019 at Malcolm X Centre. This meeting provided an opportunity for local BAME-led voluntary sector organisations to meet and find out more about Bristol City Funds from our guest speaker Sue Turner, Quartet Community Foundation.
In order to continue sharing relevant opportunities in the city with this sector network, we have themed the next meeting: 'Funding & Measuring Impact' and invited two guest speakers from public and private sector each to share opportunities for BAME organisations in relation to funding and grant opportunities. Team from Bristol City Council will also share details about a toolkit of themes, outcomes and measures designed to help organisations measure their economic, social and environmental impact created when they deliver services in the City.
