Locality is the national network of community orgs. They have over 1,600 members who help hundreds of thousands of people every week. Offering specialist advice, peer learning and campaign with members for a fairer society.
On 7-8th November Locality are hosting their annual convention in Bristol. This is the biggest community sector event of the year - an opportunity to join inspiring leaders, policy-makers, thinkers, and doers, whose ambitious work transforms our communities. The Convention will be used as the launch pad for Bristol CAO Network.
Tim Temple, Development Manager (Bristol and South West) said: “Locality has worked closely with community organisations across Bristol for many years providing advice, support, and helping develop partnerships that benefit the whole community. I am thrilled that Locality Convention is taking place in Bristol this year, and particularly excited to see two of the incredible community organisations in our city – Eastside Community Trust and WECIL - shortlisted for Locality Awards!”
